7-Day Trip to Northern Pakistan

Day 1–2 — Arrival in Skardu
Day 1
Fly to Skardu Airport — a legendary approach through the towering Karakoram peaks with K2 visible on a clear day. Transfer to your hotel overlooking the Indus River. Evening walk along the river and first taste of Balti cuisine.
Day 2
Morning visit to Kharpocho Fort perched 300m above the city — sweeping views over Skardu Valley and the Indus. Afternoon at Sadpara Lake, a serene reservoir ringed by bare rocky mountains.
Day 3–4 — Deosai Plains & Sheosar Lake
Day 3
Full-day jeep safari to Deosai National Park — the world's second-highest plateau at 4,114m. Spot Himalayan brown bears, golden marmots, and rare migratory birds across an endless wildflower plateau.
Day 4
Dawn shoot at Sheosar Lake for mirror-perfect reflections in still water. Drive to Shangrila Resort on Lower Kachura Lake — often called the heaven on earth — for a lakeside lunch and afternoon at leisure.
Day 5–7 — Hunza Valley
Day 5
Fly to Gilgit then drive the Karakoram Highway into Hunza. Stop at Attabad Lake — electric-turquoise water born from a 2010 landslide. Arrive in Karimabad with panoramic views of Rakaposhi (7,788m).
Day 6
Morning visit to Baltit Fort (900 years old) and Altit Fort. Stroll through apricot orchards and the Hunza bazaar. Sunset drive to Eagles Nest viewpoint for a panorama that defies description.
Day 7
Drive to Passu Cones for one of Pakistan's most iconic mountain panoramas. Cross the Hussaini Suspension Bridge — one of the world's most thrilling crossings. Evening farewell dinner before return flight.
